Statoil awards contract to RUE

RUE has been awarded the prestigious contract of jack-up and change out of the bearings of a total of 5 concrete culverts (see pictures below).

The operation started the 3rd June and is estimated to last 6 weeks. A total of 40 people will be involved in the operation.

Both divers and ROV are being used for this operation, which has a very high degree of complexity. The culvert that needs to be jacked-up has a weight of 5000 tons and is 150 meters long and 7 meters wide.
